The Mini Bachelorette Party

Liz and Jazmin took me down to the Galleria Mall in Henderson, NV to enjoy a night full of shopping and, of course, a wonderful dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Embarassed at first, they picked out a few cute little numbers for my honeymoon!

We Gave In!

I don't know how responsible we were about this decision.

We bought a TV!

But, it's too big for my entertainment center... we have to find a new TV Stand!

Black Friday

Although Logan had to work all day to day, I managed to go to every furniture store in St. George, Utah!

I bought the most stunning oak dinning table set and a beautiful antique entertainment center!

I really thought about Logan's words. I decided instead of buying a TV and placing it on the floor because we could not afford a stand, that I would much rather have an empty TV stand! But don't you for one second think I did not check out the TV's. Infact, I measured their width to match up with my entertainment center. I love my entertainment center. Logan will too... once we get that TV. HAHA!

If we put $50 each month into our savings, then for Black Friday 2010 we will have $600 to buy our TV, lol.

Thanksgiving

After Logan told me all that he was thankful for, he prepared me for the worst.

We had been planning on Black Friday for quite some time now to purchase some of the more important furniture pieces for our first apartment.

Not that he needed to, but he humbled me by explaining that we may need to get one piece of furniture at a time.

Example:
November - Dinner Table
December - Washer & Dryer
January - TV
February - TV stand

He told me even if we have to set the TV on the floor because we could not afford a TV stand, that it will be okay; that we will be alright. I agree. He is one-hundred percent correct. We cannot get married and expect to buy whatever sparks our fancy. We have to work hard and ask the Lord for help and He will help.

After the cute little conversation, he handed me his credit card and said, "Okay, your limit for tomorrow is $400. Get any furniture you think we need."

I am not so sure that was the wisest idea ;)

Just Peachy

There is another wedding on the same day, at the same time as ours...
To make things worse... the bride is also in the same ward as us.
Fabulous...

A wise man told me today to think positively of this. In Filmore, Utah, folks are more willing to go to two weddings on the same night rather than two weddings on different nights because you can hit two birds with one stone. Plus, we get our publicity with every one talking about how both of our weddings are on the same day.

About My Bride: Logan's Point of View

Stephanie is so beautiful in her dress. I hate taking pictures, but I loved every minute of the engagement and bridal shoots we took because it made her so happy.
Stephanie drives me crazy sometimes. One day she is happy, but the next day she is sad. Nevertheless, I'm extremely excited to move in together and start our life. She is going to make a great wife.

There comes a time, when it IS time.

Logan has already moved out of his parents house, so moving out is not going to be hard for him. I, on the other hand, still live at home! I will be the first to leave since I am the oldest. I suppose that to an extent I will miss arguing with my sisters and nagging my brother. Haha!

We are definitely ready to get out of here! We will have our privacy; no one will be Eve's-dropping. I will not have to take my razor, face wash, shampoo, and conditioner out of the shower so that no one uses it. No more missing an eyeshadow, or going through my closet wondering where a certain shirt is. No more fighting to do laundry and no more someone eating the food I make for me and Logan. We cannot wait!
Although, we could probably live without the annoying text messages that will come...

Weird Dream: Logan's Point of View

The first thing Stephanie will say when I tell her this dream is, "That'll never happen because your mom would never do that."

In my dream my mom appologized to Stephanie. They both were crying while they hugged and forgave each other. The End.

Weird Dream

If all dreams have special meanings... What does this one mean?

"In my dream last night, it was the day of my wedding. I got ready, did my hair and make up. To relax a bit I called my friend Jazmin. We went to this big mall and ate some lunch at the food court. It was about 3:30pm, with only one and a half hours to go till I walked down the aisle. I had an adrenaline rush and turned to her saying, "Oh my heck, I'm going to be late!"

Next thing I know I'm hiding in a secret room in my house. The room looked like a room my parents would have let a Jewish family live in until the war was over. It was a cozy room, fairly decorated and quiet. I look at the clock upon the wall as it chimes 8 o'clock in the evening. I didn't go to my wedding. I left Logan standing at the alter. I didn't understand why. I was still in my wedding dress also.

Apparently, in my dream there was this secluded, grassy field Logan and I would have picnics and privacy on. I ran out to the field hoping Logan would be there to talk to him and explain that I had no clue why I did not arrive at my wedding. He was there, very angry and distraught. I completely let him down yet I could not understand why I didn't marry him. He was so upset and there was not a thing I could do to fix it."

The Shower

A bridal shower for the soon-to-be wife, Stephanie Baxter, is being hosted at the Egbert residence on Saturday, November 21st, 2009 at 3:30pm.

I am so thankful for thoughtful friends and sisters The party is going to be so much fun! I'm not going to lie; the thing I look forward too the most is the food.

Where should we live?

The search for a cheap apartment thus far is endless. We have found a few $650's and a $550. $500 would be great but we cannot seem to find one...

The Wedding: Logan's Point of View

I'm nervous that Stephanie isn't going to be happy with the wedding. I feel like I have not done anything. I feel like I need to do something.

The Shoes

I've changed my mind about my shoes so many times.

Logan does not like my leopard print shoes.

Too bad.

PS: I don't like his plain shiny shoes.
