The Mini Bachelorette Party

Liz and Jazmin took me down to the Galleria Mall in Henderson, NV to enjoy a night full of shopping and, of course, a wonderful dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Embarassed at first, they picked out a few cute little numbers for my honeymoon!

We Gave In!

I don't know how responsible we were about this decision.

We bought a TV!

But, it's too big for my entertainment center... we have to find a new TV Stand!

Black Friday

Although Logan had to work all day to day, I managed to go to every furniture store in St. George, Utah!

I bought the most stunning oak dinning table set and a beautiful antique entertainment center!

I really thought about Logan's words. I decided instead of buying a TV and placing it on the floor because we could not afford a stand, that I would much rather have an empty TV stand! But don't you for one second think I did not check out the TV's. Infact, I measured their width to match up with my entertainment center. I love my entertainment center. Logan will too... once we get that TV. HAHA!

If we put $50 each month into our savings, then for Black Friday 2010 we will have $600 to buy our TV, lol.

Thanksgiving

After Logan told me all that he was thankful for, he prepared me for the worst.

We had been planning on Black Friday for quite some time now to purchase some of the more important furniture pieces for our first apartment.

Not that he needed to, but he humbled me by explaining that we may need to get one piece of furniture at a time.

Example:
November - Dinner Table
December - Washer & Dryer
January - TV
February - TV stand

He told me even if we have to set the TV on the floor because we could not afford a TV stand, that it will be okay; that we will be alright. I agree. He is one-hundred percent correct. We cannot get married and expect to buy whatever sparks our fancy. We have to work hard and ask the Lord for help and He will help.

After the cute little conversation, he handed me his credit card and said, "Okay, your limit for tomorrow is $400. Get any furniture you think we need."

I am not so sure that was the wisest idea ;)

Just Peachy

There is another wedding on the same day, at the same time as ours...
To make things worse... the bride is also in the same ward as us.
Fabulous...

A wise man told me today to think positively of this. In Filmore, Utah, folks are more willing to go to two weddings on the same night rather than two weddings on different nights because you can hit two birds with one stone. Plus, we get our publicity with every one talking about how both of our weddings are on the same day.
